To the East!

Last summer, I had my first family reunion and vacation in the West Coast for a period of two weeks. We begun our adventure in San Francisco, then to Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and ended in Los Angelas. This summer, on another memorable reunion, we flew to the other side and ventured out to the East Coast and Canada. We took a tour with Super Vacation that cost $628 per person, inclusive of hotel stays and some meals. However, the costs did not include most attractions such as museums, observatory towers and other more exclusive meals. If anyone's interested on booking a tour with this company, make sure to find out what's included and not as we were only told about some additional charges after the first day of our tour.

Though I've visited New York back in 2009, being with my family made it all new and exciting again:)

Day 1: New York City, New York
Welcome to Neeeww Yorrrk!

Our tour was only scheduled to begin the next day, so we had
the first day to ourselves.
Had our dinner at Ruby Foo's restaurant
located on Broadway at W. 49th St

After the long walk in the rain late at night, we decided to pick the closest
Asian restaurant and ended up at Ruby Foo's. Thankfully, it was a good choice:)

This place has some good reviews and the meals were pretty good.
I'd recommend this restaurant for a higher priced chinese cuisine.

The first day was pretty much just feeding our stomachs every few hours and
enjoying the big city and midnight stroll in Times Square.

Pretty bright neon lights:)
